The Santander US EPMO is accountable for the definition of the standard, and the implementation of processes, tools, and quality assurance to ensure oversight and evolution of the project management function. The team provides direction to the entities for adherence to the Standard and Process via multiple channels: Office Hours meeting (bi-weekly), Advisory Group meeting (monthly) and on an ad hoc basis to ensure consistency in the oversight of the Book of Work, produces consistent entity level project health reporting (including financials, RAG status, KPIs, key risks and issues) and hosts review and challenge sessions on entity report submissions, performs Quality Assurance on IT Books of Work and sends monthly reports with any findings to Executive Leadership.
The EPMO Program Manager is a key member of the team and will be responsible for the following:
+ Governance and controls: will oversee portfolio, toll gate administration (screening candidate projects, recording gate decisions, distributing gate agendas), Reporting, project management support, project artifact reviews.
+ Ability to analyze, decipher, and present data (leveraging tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) for decision making and Executive Reporting
+ End to end support of Project lifecycle - Projects approval, gates (checkpoints), executive reporting (projects status), documentation.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with PM Community
+ Responsible for support to the application, compliance, and reporting of the project management methodology.
+ Support activities may include updates to EPMO documentation, providing training and communications related to the project management function, monitoring compliance with standard requirements, support change controls across.
+ Review and report project information across portfolios and provide feedback to Portfolio Managers and PM Community to support their governance role. Facilitate the flow of information to Executive Management and other stakeholders regularly.
+ Project Management of EPMO projects (e.g. Internal projects or supporting Regulatory examinations of project management function)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ PM Communication
+ Data analysis
+ Produce reports for executive, compliance, and regulatory stakeholders
+ Creates tollgate meeting materials
+ Produce monthly KPIs (Portfolio Status KPIs) and other metrics to support the application of the project management methodology
+ Monitors EPMO Mailbox and responds to Ad Hoc Queries
+ Mentor junior EPMO resources

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
+ Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
+ 5+ years program and project management experience
+ 5+ years working in a team environment
+ 5+ years Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
