About the Job
Selectek is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Controls/Electrical Project Manager role. Candidates in this role will be working out of Hartsfield-Jackson airport in Atlanta, Georgia. This client is seeking an experienced candidate to oversee new baggage handling system development, deployment, and improvements .
Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct
Expected Pay Range: $57-$62 per hour depending on experience before permanent conversion
Location: south Atlanta, Georgia
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in automation and controls design
- Proficient in PLC programming and configuration, specifically with Allen-Bradley software
- Skilled in interpreting electrical schematic and blueprints
- Knowledgeable about electrical and control device deployment
- Familiarity with AutoCAD design
In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the clients request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Details:
- Collaborate with management and clients to stay on top of changing project priorities
- Prioritize tasks and delegate as necessary to ensure projects progress smoothly
- Resolve technical issues by engaging appropriate departments/resources
- Diagnose and rectify control component issues
- Communicate project status with all stakeholders
- Offer expert guidance on optimizing baggage handling service systems
- Travel occasionally to company home office near Orlando
Schedule: Monday Friday, normal work hours.
