Position: Full-time Program Manager
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Mains’l Services is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to lead a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and assist individuals with disabilities in their day-to-day activities. As a Program Manager, you will support people in their homes, communities, and relationships, helping them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. This role offers the chance to make a positive impact by partnering with your team, stakeholders, and the people you support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and nurture annual plans with the individuals you support and their teams.
- Manage both hourly and 24-hour services, ensuring individuals receive the support they need.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop your team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Collaborate and communicate with guardians, case managers, and other Mains’l team members.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to teams and people supported.
- Model and maintain high expectations for excellence in service delivery.
- Manage resources wisely and stay within budgetary guidelines.
Salary: $50,128 annually
Qualifications:
You must meet one of the following qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in a field related to human services, education, or health, plus one year of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, or equivalent experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
An associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health, plus two years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, or equivalent experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited institution, plus three years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, or equivalent experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities, plus four years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed in (1) to (3).
Additional Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation with valid insurance coverage.
- Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Human Services (DHS).
