REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree required • Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation technology platform experience preferred, within the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry • Demonstrated experience leading successful strategic, high-risk, complex technology implementations – including vendor SaaS technologies • Diversity of project experience, including Out of Box implementations, Integrations, Phased Implementations, Data Migration, System Decommissions, and Feasibility Assessments • Excellent project and consultant leadership skills (full lifecycle – ideation to user adoption and production support transition / training) • Comfortable leading projects from diverse methodologies, including Agile / Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid • Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, collaboration, and • Proven problem-solving, analytical and consultation skills • Proven issue / risk management and analytical skills • Proven organizational, communication and facilitation skills • Proven vendor and stakeholder management skills • Experience working with Smartsheet, JIRA, Teams, SharePoint, and other MS tools
JOB DESCRIPTION
Program / Project Management consultant / expert to lead and deliver multiple new technology solutions and platform transitions, integrations and decommissions to support BIS Global Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation. Confirmed and potential technology projects include: – New Global Grants and Funding Management solution (vendor TBD, with estimated January or early February 2025 kickoff for what will likely be a multi-phased program effort including multiple Phase 2 integrations – Global AI capability expansion to support Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) with patient interactions and care – Global Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Database Solution (and legacy platform transition) – Global Medical Information Platform Solution – Global Integrated Evidence Generation Planning (IEGP) Platform Solution – Other projects as needed, including potentially in other areas across BIS Commercial and Medical Affairs expanded team Provide best-in-class technology project management leadership and consultation to argenx BIS Global Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation (MA&EG) – ensuring delivery excellence in accordance with argenx BIS project management best practices and guidelines.
Tasks include – but are not limited to below and other emerging demands: • Schedule Management: Creation of comprehensive project plan(s) including dependent work, implementation / integration, validation, and deployment efforts, partnering with Business, BIS, Vendor Partners, and other cross-functional teams to ensure schedule captures implementation milestones, activities, and stakeholder accountability – with diligent updates and follow-ups • Communication / Reporting: Defining and implementing metrics and vehicles for communication with leaders and stakeholders to ensure they understand the status and health of delivery. This includes basic status reports and governance meetings. • Scope / Requirement Management: Defining and managing parameters project will operate. Working across stakeholder groups to negotiate, define and document scope and technical / business requirements. Managing the program / project scope change request process.
JOB DESCRIPTION • Resource Management: Addressing all aspects of resource management within a project. Also includes roles and responsibilities, capacity management, utilization, and stakeholder engagement. • Issue / Risk Management: Proactive identifying, tracking, and reporting of risks and issues (i.e., budget, schedule, quality, and scope), including managing processes, tools, and methods for gathering, assessing, and communicating issues and risks to project stakeholders. • Business Analysis/Systems Analysis: Facilitating / supporting requirements documentation, process design, validation, and other analysis. • Vendor Facilitation: critical to this role is the partnership with Veeva Project Teams to drive implementations; will collaborate with Veeva resources, as appropriate to ensure coordinated effort and delivery upon agreed timelines • Project Financial Management: will work with BIS Commercial and Medical Affairs Portfolio Lead to ensure consolidated project financial reporting and tracking • Change Management: will help facilitate critical Change Management / user adoption-related activities in support of BIS MA&EG technology platform for user communities • Implementation Partner Management: will partner with vendor implementation partner(s) to ensure successful project experience and delivery outcomes for project stakeholders, including vendor engagement and delivery assurance, crossfunctional communication and progress reporting, and strict adherence to contractual obligations, milestones, and requirements. • Supports BIS Global Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation Director / Lead in matters relating to BIS MA & EG project management support • Will work with BIS Commercial and Medical Affairs (BIS CMA) Portfolio / Project Lead to ensure adherence to BIS CMA portfolio and project management standards, processes and reporting requirements
