Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) is seeking a highly motivated and tactical Program Manager to manage programs within its Electronic Warfare (EW) division R&D portfolio.
The candidate will support our Sensing Applications Business Area and be responsible for understanding customer needs to create new business and efficiently and effectively executing technical programs.
The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be a strong team player, and have the ability to establish solid working relationships with technical staff and peers within the division, as well as our external Government customers.
The candidate will also have supervisory responsibilities. Experience in automatic target recognition, signal processing, radars, electro-optical/infrared sensors, computational electromagnetics, modeling and simulation, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and EW is a plus.Primary ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and manage small, medium, and large-scale programs Lead business development and proposal activitiesIntegrate all functions and activities necessary to ensure the program meets customer expectations and contract requirementsActively monitor, track, and manage program tasks, performance, subcontractors, risks, costs, and scheduleConduct quality review and submission of all deliverablesProvide strong, proactive, and assertive leadership while engaging multi-discipline teams and responding to business needsMake decisions at the program team-level and properly escalate issues that cannot be resolved timelyCreate program management plans, set expectations, and ensure plans are driven by organizational proceduresEnsure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed, and approved per organizational/program standardsEnsure programs are executed on-time, within budget, and remain within scopeCreate a work breakdown structures defining all activities and develop schedules to monitor and track dependencies, milestones, and deliverablesEstablish and maintain financial plans, track and report monthly actuals vs.
planned expenditures, and implement corrective actions as necessary to address variancesSupervise a team of 5-10 members, including other PMs, with the goal of developing a portfolio of programsBasic Qualifications: Experience overseeing technical teams and managing R&D programs Excellent verbal and written communication, management, and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently under stringent timelinesExperience with leading or supporting captures, including business development, customer relations, and proposal management/writingExperience with agile schedulingExperience with financial systems and managing program budgetsProven ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships, external stakeholder networks, and teaming partnershipsProficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordBachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of prior relevant experienceActive Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of prior relevant experienceActive Top Secret/SCI clearance4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.LInCElectronic WarfareOriginal Posting Date:2024-12-03While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
