Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Management Support Subject Matter Expert for the Tenants contract, supporting the Astrion Air Force Division.
JOB DETAILS
LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL
JOB STATUS: Full Time
TRAVEL: 3 - 4 Travel Events Annually
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Master’s degree, or additional years of qualifying experience
- A minimum of 20 years of work experience (15 years of DoD program management experience), or additional years’ experience for degree substitution
- An active Secret security clearance is required for consideration with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- DAWIA Level III Program Management (or equivalent)
- Experience as DoD Senior Materiel Leader, Materiel Leader, or equivalent
- Experience drafting Request for Proposal (RFP) elements, including Statement of Objectives/Work (SOO/SOW) requirements, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) DD Forms 1423 and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), DD Forms 254, and special clauses
- Experience evaluating DoD contractor proposals
- Experience managing DoD contracts
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to lead and work with diverse groups of people, handling multiple projects at once, with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with acquisition of munitions/weapons systems preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders in AFRL/RW, other AFRL Directorates, AFRL HQ, AFLCMC/EB Armament Directorate, AFNWC/ND Air Delivered Capabilities Directorate, etc. to capture best practices and translate them to contract requirements
- Research and analyze current and past AFRL/RW programs to determine lessons learned and update contract requirements templates to improve future acquisition outcomes
- Routinely and effectively communicate status, orally and in writing, to the AFRL/RWI Division Chief, AFRL/RW Chief Engineer, and other senior AFRL/RW staff
- Support program management reviews and other senior-level meetings
- Serve as a mentor and acquisitions training resource for AFRL/RW program managers, scientists, and engineers
