The Program Management Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of organizational initiatives, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires strategic planning, resource management, and leadership to drive complex projects to completion while continuously improving processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage organizational programs, including hiring staff, managing budgets, and promoting the program to potential participants
- Define program scope, set deadlines, and delegate tasks to team members to ensure objectives are met
- Oversee the planning and supervision of projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Develop and execute program strategies, manage resources, and coordinate related projects for optimal performance
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize projects and optimize resource utilization, regularly reporting progress
- Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and management tools to clearly articulate project status.
- Implement process improvements and tools for program management, ensuring consistency and efficiency
- Build and lead a Program Management function, including the implementation of systems or tools to manage multiple projects

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Technical, Computer Science, Management, or related field from an accredited college or university. Master’s Degree a plus
- Preferred certifications: PMP, PMI, CMX, CSM, ITIL, EVMS, CSP, ACP
Job-related Experience
- Customarily has at least 8 years of customer facing project management and client engagement experience
- Extensive experience in program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
- Advanced understanding of program management principles and best practices
