About the Role:
Are you passionate about financial management and seeking an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic program? We have an immediate opening for a Program Financial Analyst Senior to join our team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in overseeing all financial aspects of a large CPFF EVM program within our sector. As a valued member of our program team, you'll collaborate closely with the program manager to define financial goals, maintain budgets, analyze progress, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend strategies for seamless program execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver financial forecasts, reports, and analysis to stakeholders.
- Develop on-contract growth proposals for our customers, collaborating with various functional teams.
- Manage the program's general ledger and monitor cash flow effectively.
- Drive financial forecasts and manage subcontractors, analyzing revenue and costs.
- Assist Program Managers in identifying risks and opportunities, while recommending cost-saving measures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure financial performance aligns with Annual Operating Plans, conducting monthly/quarterly forecasts and financial planning activities.
- Conduct month-end closings, variance/trend analyses, and maintain cash management and inventory analysis.
- Deliver key financial documents such as Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Quarterly Financial Status Reviews (QFSRs).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in program finance.
- Proficiency in managing various contract types including FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus, and hybrid contracts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to work independently.
- Commercial experience and expertise in revenue recognition are essential.
- US citizenship required; ability to obtain security clearance if necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with financial systems and applications such as Cost Point, Hyperion, OBI, and Cognos.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Previous experience in manufacturing and international business arrangements is advantageous.
