Job Duties and Responsibilities
UAS systems engineering, logistics, and acquisition planning
Coordinate, schedule, prepare and execute test plans and prepare test reports
Technical and systems evaluation of new aircraft systems
Coordinate, review and prepare final technical documentation to include specifications, engineering reports and maintenance reports
Review and propose updates to engineering bulletins, flight manuals, checklists and procedures
Conduct regular software reviews; Propose, review and recommend approval of software changes at the system and subsystem level; Participate in SIL testing
Travel to test sites
Requirements
Security classification is required for this position.
BS Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineer Degree is required and an MS is desirable
In depth knowledge of aircraft systems, FAA procedures and requirements is required
Five years of aircraft engineering experience is required
Five years flight test experience is desirable
Three years UAS experience is desired
