The Role:
As the Program Director, you'll spearhead our Promoting an Inclusive West Africa (PIWA) program. Funded by a prestigious grant, this initiative aims to empower marginalized communities in Coastal West Africa, ensuring their political rights and civil liberties are respected. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the vision, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing project activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategic plans and work closely with the team to implement them in line with project goals.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timely delivery of activities.
Provide mentorship and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Cultivate partnerships with stakeholders and donors to maximize the impact of our initiatives.
Design and implement programs focused on inclusion, governance, and social behavior change in target regions.
Qualifications:
A passion for promoting inclusivity and human rights.
A graduate degree in a relevant field (international relations, development, etc.) preferred.
Proven experience in international development, particularly in West Africa.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
Experience managing projects funded by governmental agencies.
Fluency in French and English is essential.
Familiarity with Coastal West Africa is a plus.
