Exciting Opportunity! LLCC is seeking a dynamic Program Director to lead our Medical Laboratory Technician program. Lead, inspire, and make a difference in healthcare education! This position will provide direction for the Medical Laboratory Technician Program, and maintain compliance with national accreditation standards.

Starting salary is likely to be between $68,497 and $90,869 per year with an excellent benefits package. The person hired into this position will be placed within this range based on education, training, experience, and skills.

Job Duties
- Work with the Dean to provide day-to-day direction for program faculty and staff.
- Oversee all methods of instruction delivery within the program.
- Manage risks associated with clinical and practical education of students.
- Manage student transition into program and retention.
- Conduct student conferences, as appropriate.
- Plan, organize, supervise and manage all aspects of Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program operation.
- Perform autonomous decision-making on all issues related to program operations including statutory requirements.
- Keep program in compliance with stated goals and objectives.
- Assist in marketing/recruitment of students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development.
- Network on a professional level with local, state and national leaders in medical laboratory sciences.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree required.
- Possess ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist
- Three years of teaching experience
- Knowledge of education methods and administration
- Knowledge of current NAACLS accreditation procedures and certification procedures
