How you make a difference:
The Program Director is a dynamic leader who oversees, coordinates, and drives the success of the program, ensuring services exceed expectations and comply with policies, regulations, and accreditation standards. This role is pivotal in building and leading a high-performing team by hiring, training, coaching, and empowering employees to achieve excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to staffing ratios, program guidelines, policies, and timely completion of reporting requirements.
Employee Development and Supervision: Provide professional and technical development, education, training, and performance evaluations for program and activity employees.
Regulatory and Accreditation Oversight: Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards and requirements.
Recruitment and Training: Participate in employee recruitment, onboarding, training, and continuous evaluation to maintain program quality.
Admissions and Discharge Oversight: Oversee and ensure proper execution of the admissions and discharge processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Required: M.A. or M.S. in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field.
Experience:
- Required: Five (5) years of experience as a master’s level mental health professional related to the specific skills necessary to manage and oversee department objectives.
- Required: Two (2) years of increasingly responsible mental health experience including manager or supervisory experience.
- Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Preferred: Current licensure in state where worked performed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage, Family and Child Counselor (MFCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Clinical Psychologist. Or must obtain such licensure within six (6) months after starting employment.
