About the Role:
We are seeking a Program Director to lead the Learn & Earn Program at Epic North High School. In this vital role, you will manage all aspects of the program, ensuring successful implementation, compliance with NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) standards, and alignment with QCH’s mission.
As the Program Director, you will:
+ Supervise program staff and oversee daily operations.
+ Build partnerships with the school, community organizations, and stakeholders.
+ Monitor program outcomes using DYCD Connect and Salesforce.
+ Lead student recruitment efforts and ensure the program meets its enrollment and engagement goals.
This position reports to the Division Director of School-Based Programs.
Key Responsibilities:Program Management:
+ Plan and oversee all program activities, aligning with DYCD requirements and QCH’s mission.
+ Manage program schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure efficiency and impact.
+ Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, leveraging data-driven tools like DYCD Connect and Salesforce.
+ Ensure high-quality service delivery through strengths-based, youth-centered practices.
Staff Supervision:
+ Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, including Case Manager, Job Developer, and Program Coordinator.
+ Conduct regular team meetings and individual supervision to provide guidance and professional development.
+ Conduct performance evaluations and address any personnel issues promptly.
Partnership Development:
+ Serve as the primary liaison between QCH, Epic High School, DYCD, and community partners.
+ Strengthen existing partnerships and cultivate new ones to enhance program offerings.
+ Represent the Learn & Earn program at DYCD and stakeholder meetings.
Student Recruitment and Engagement:
+ Lead efforts to recruit 35 WIOA-eligible juniors and 35 WIOA-eligible seniors, ensuring enrollment targets are met.
+ Collaborate with school staff to identify and engage eligible students.
+ Develop and implement culturally responsive outreach strategies, including events and community engagement initiatives.
Student Support:
+ Oversee individualized support services for students, including case management and counseling.
+ Monitor and support students’ progress toward academic, career, and personal goals.
Data Management and Reporting:
+ Track and manage program data using DYCD Connect and Salesforce.
+ Generate timely reports to evaluate program outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
+ Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with DYCD requirements.
Compliance and Reporting:
+ Ensure all program activities adhere to DYCD standards and organizational policies.
+ Submit regular reports on program activities, outcomes, and student progress.
Qualifications:
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in education, social work, public administration, or a related field preferred.
+ At least 5 years of experience in youth development, education, or workforce development programs.
+ Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, with proven leadership skills.
+ Proficiency in DYCD Connect, Salesforce, or similar data management systems.
+ Experience working with diverse, at-risk, or underserved youth populations.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
+ Familiarity with DYCD-funded programs and compliance standards.
+ Experience in program evaluation and outcome measurement.
+ Knowledge of local Queens communities and resources.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
