Title: Program Director
Salary: Starting at $75000 / annually depending upon education, experience, and licensure.
Responsibilities:The duties of the Program Director shall minimally include:
- Responsible for program administration, development, implementation and Inter-agency coordination.
- Responsible for staff supervision, scheduling, staff development and/or training and clinical supervision.
- Responsible for facility management, Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.
- Must ensure completion of the comprehensive intake assessments and ongoing nursing assessments by appropriately licensed and credentialed staff.
- Responsible for individual, group, family counseling, and Crisis Intervention Counseling.
- Must provide explanation to consumer residents of their rights and procedures in the event they are removed or discharged from the residence.
- Must provide Clinical support for staff 24 hours a day.
- Must be able to arrive on-site to provide crisis intervention counseling and/or staff coverage in the event of an emergency.
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health discipline.
- Life experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Employee must possess a valid driver’s license and if duties require driving, be able to drive an agency-owned vehicle.
- Must be able to work under required deadline schedules, while being flexible to special requests and projects.
- Must be able to professionally handle stressful situations.
Crisis Diversion Homes
The program provides adults who have recently experienced a crisis working closely with the 988-crisis continuum. The program provides psychiatric stabilization and case management services in a residential setting to divert hospital admissions and emergency department visits. The targeted length of stay is less than 30 days.
