About the Job
Responsible for the overall operation of the site including oversight of personnel, programming, scheduling, policy & procedure implementation and fulfilling requirements of funding/regulatory agencies. This position includes direct support of individuals served.
Responsibilities:To assist the Assistant Vice President in developing goals and objectives, budgets, employee and participant selection, staff utilization, space allocation, travel, in-service training, supervision, consultants, program development and risk management.
To perform duties and supervise personnel with the overall operation of the program as a prime concern including employee scheduling and job
performance, rating of the employee effectiveness and in-service training as assigned.
Implement behavior management interventions for individuals as warranted.
To be familiar with regulations and statues governing the human rights of program participants.
To act as a role model and to provide contextual training of staff in the integrated therapeutic model.
To assist the Assistant Vice President in conducting intake procedures in conjunction with program staff.
Provide assistance as needed for program participants’ personal care needs including dining, toileting and transfers.
To participate in activities as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team.
To be familiar with the agency’s overall operation as established by written description of service and organizational information.
To oversee and participate in the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans including assessment writing and reviews.
Be familiar with, and assist in the implementation of, the Seven Hills Foundation Policies & Procedures, the site’s Program Specific Policies & Procedures and the regulations governing the program.
To foster the growth of individuals by teaching and offering opportunities for choice, initiation and risk taking.
Oversee all programming areas at the site.
To transport participants as assigned.
To act as a Case Manager as assigned.
To act as interim Assistant Vice President during times the Assistant Vice President is absent.
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, with at least 3 yrs of relevant health care experience, of which at least 2 of those years must have been spent in a supervisory role.
- Alternative qualifications: Six (6) years of relevant health care experience, with 3 of those yrs serving in a supervisory role.
- Valid driver’s license required.
