A fast-growing leader in the multifamily construction industry, delivering exceptional projects that range from large-scale developments to renovations. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Construction Program Designer to join our team.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Construction Program Designer with strong expertise in multifamily design. Reporting directly to the Senior Estimator, this role will collaborate with a team of designers to support the construction side of the company. This is a high-priority position, and we are seeking candidates who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs using CAD software and perform on-screen takeoffs.
- Create hand-drawn sketches when necessary to support design concepts and project needs.
- Ensure compliance with Florida building codes and adapt quickly to other state regulations as required.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with construction goals.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of multifamily projects, including ground-up developments (up to 18 buildings with 300 units) and renovations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in design, with at least 1 year specializing in multifamily projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD software and on-screen takeoff tools.
- Strong understanding of Florida building codes and a capacity to learn other state regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Bonus: Semiannual performance-based bonus.
- Fully paid benefits.
- 401(k) plan eligibility after 90 days.
- ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) participation after 1.5 years with the company.
