- Job Summary
- • Oversee the daily operations of the Neuromuscular specialty program and Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Clinics ensuring efficient workflow and patient care delivery.
- • Acts as a role model for other staff and creates a positive clinic atmosphere to help with retention of and motivating clinic staff.
- • Participates in new employee interview process as requested.
- • Assists Informatics Coordinator with implementation/maintenance of documentation in EMR.
- Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or other healthcare related field.
- Experience
- At least 7 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, in an outpatient setting
- OR
- BSN degree with at least 4 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, preferably outpatient setting
- OR
- MSN degree with at least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, preferably outpatient setting
- OR
- Degree in healthcare related field with 5 years of subspecialty experience, preferably in pediatrics, preferably outpatient setting.
- OR
- Masters Degree in healthcare related field with 3 years of subspecialty experience, preferably in pediatrics, preferably outpatient setting.
- Management experience preferred
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- Current RN License in the State of Alabama (if applicable)
- Current BLS certificate required
Location: Children's of Alabama · Pulmonary Clinic
Schedule: Full-time, Day shift, 8:00 - 4:30 pm
