ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIILITIES
1. Works with Director of Behavioral Health to ensure all MHOTRS & HBCI program requirements are met
2. Joins HBCI Program Coordinator in Developing and implementing HBCI program goals, objectives, and strategies
3. Clinical supervision for staff and interns who are providing on-site and home-based services for high-risk youth
4. Joins HBCI program staff on the initial home visit and covers visits for staff when not in the agency
5. Monitors productivity of HBCI interventionists and MHOTRS staff/interns, and ensures quality of service provisions offered
6. Review staff documentation in EHR, and ensure timely documentation
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including OMH/DOHMH
8. Provides 24-hour call coverage for HBCI and MHOTRS program as assigned
9. Manage internship program, including running weekly intern group, providing individual supervision to interns, and recruitment of intern cohorts annually (in collaboration with other program coordinators)
10. Collaborate with the Director of Behavioral Health/Clinic, Assistant Directors, other Program Coordinators, intake department, and quality assurance team to provide best practice clinical services in compliance with OMH regulations
11. Must be willing to work at least one late evening (until 8PM) at Main clinic office and provide additional evening coverage, as needed, as well as respond to afterhours crisis calls (on rotation with other Assistant Directors and Program Coordinators/Supervisors)
12. Must be willing to attend agency/community events as needed
13. Must participate in all internal agency and external meetings, as needed
14. Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director, Director of Behavioral Health and/or the Chief Program Officer
QUALIFICATION AND CREDENTIALS
1. LMSW/LCSW or LMHC with current NYS license
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children
3. Experience working with youth in crisis
4. Experience with evidenced based models
5. Experience with behavioral health issues impacting youth and families
6. Experience with home-based services and willingness to travel to client’s homes
7. Good organizational and communication skills
8. Experience with clinical supervision of staff, SIFI trained preferred
9. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative working relationships
10. Capacity to present the program to community organizations
11. Good time management and organizational skills
12. Independent and self-motivated
13. Willingness to travel to client's homes
14. Proficient in the following applications: Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Forms, Teams), Zoom, Doxy.me, and electronic health records
15. Cultural competence and humility
16. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred
