Responsibilities:Coordinate the daily operation of assigned mobile unit, including driving the unit and serving as the Patient Service Representative. Assist Program Manager with scheduling the unit at events and with, with local community partners and conduct outreach and education to promote the mobile unit.
Program Coordinator Duties
- Act as lead of assigned mobile unit staff and daily operations
- May facilitate group educational sessions
- Perform direct services
- Assist with internal and external program reporting, such as progress and final reports. Participate in development of programs and assists grant writing team, as needed
- Assist with scheduling mobile unit and creating flyers, calendars and other promotional materials as needed
- Attend and facilitate meetings, as required
Patient Service Representative Duties
- Greet patients in a professional manner
- Verify insurance eligibility and copy insurance cards
- Work closely with other clinic staff to ensure patients are being seen in a timely manner
- Perform financial and eligibility screening for clinic programs
- Print daily schedule and confirm next day’s appointments
- Complete appropriate paperwork as needed for patients: school excuses, Head Start forms, etc.
- Post encounters, run error report and complete productivity tracking report at end of day
- Make follow-up appointments to patients as needed
Minimum
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of two years' related experience
- Fluent Bilingual/Spanish
- Valid California driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Associates degree
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Ability to track and manage time and budgets effectively
- Experience/familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel), business e-mail communication systems and internet search capabilities
Pay Rate
$21.00 - $23.00 DOE
