Job Description
Responsible to ensure the continuing procurement of donated human milk. The coordinator will facilitate the milk donor screening process in accordance with HMBANA accreditation standards and organizational policies. The process includes, but is not limited to, direct client services such as inquiries, lifestyle/medication interview, physician referrals, education, approvals, and retirement of donors. It is necessary to build and maintain relationships with medical professionals and agencies including the depot sites across the state. The coordinator must demonstrate exceptional communication and public-speaking skills, display sensitivity and knowledge of issues related to breastfeeding and the use of banked human milk and provide superior customer service and care. The coordinator will monitor and report on departmental data and progress toward key performance indicators, train depot site champions, manage depot site deliveries.
