Program Analyst
NIRA Inc, a fast-growing women-owned small business, is seeking a Project Manager to support FAA senior managers/directors. The Individual needs to demonstrate the ability to work within a team to resolve issues and present solutions to senior leadership. This position requires strong analytical skills, thorough understanding of the FAA Joint Resources Council (JRC) processes, the ability to collect and combine information from multiple sources to create a comprehensive picture of the project, and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
Required: Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance (be present in the United States 3 years of the last 5 years)
Responsibilities:
- Participate/Lead JRC status meetings with multiple programs;
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to track status of deliverables and prepare status reports;
- Serve as a liaison and coordinate with program offices, group manager's office, director's office and provide status reports;
- Analyze, distill, and present data in high-visibility FAA key stakeholder meetings;
- Develop and maintain integrated spreadsheets including program/project implementation activities, financial data, schedules, etc. to assist with FAA decision making;
- Coordinate project milestones, constraints, solutions, status of active and future projects;
- Compile, assess and analyze large data sets from various sources to identify coordination requirements, impacts, solutions, and recommendations;
- Examine project requirements across various initiatives and provide recommendations for comprehensive program planning purposes;
- Participate/Lead meetings as needed, and develop documentation, presentations, briefings, white papers, etc.;
- Cultivate strong relationships with key FAA JRC stakeholders and identify potential risks across the programs and offer strategies to minimize disruptions.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience;
- Must have FAA AMS experience;
- Preferred professional certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP);
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with a focus on financial analysis, and the ability to manipulate and present data effectively to a wide variety of audiences;
- Be quality conscious with focus on delivering products of a high caliber;
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize assignments and workload;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
- Strong data analysis, program evaluation and critical thinking skills;
- Ability to employ problem-solving techniques in unique situations.
