Overview
Program Analyst Senior:
Bowhead seeks a Senior Program Analyst to support AWS and PMA 266 for the planning, design, development, procurement, and life-cycle support of the Navy and Marine Corps Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). This position will provide experience in Navy and Marine Corps aviation maintenance operations and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) programs to include maintenance squadron initiation, maintenance schoolhouse establishment and student production, and maintenance requirements generation.
Responsibilities
+ This position will provide subject matter expertise in 4790 Naval Aviation Maintenance Program and VMU squadron maintenance Concept of Operations development:
+ Coordination of acquisition strategies, development and submission of program budgets, deployment and fielding strategies and all aspects of naval aviation maintenance, VMU CONOPS, and DoD acquisition process.
+ Support the UAS Transition Task Force (TTF). This position will coordinate high-level service staff actions with Headquarters United States Marine Corps, Chief of Naval Operations, Naval Aviation Systems Command, Component Commands and the JCS staffs.
+ Assist in the development of the Marine Aviation Plan for UAS and Marine Corps UAS Family of Systems strategy and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ A Senior labor category has over 10 years of experience and a MA/MS* degree. *12 years’ work experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree. Bachelor’s Degree PLUS 8 years’ experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.
+ A Senior labor category typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
+ A Senior labor category may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.Prior experience supporting HQMC Deputy Commandant of Aviation preferred.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
+ Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
+ Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
+ Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
