We are a small team of people who are passionate about advancing our mission. We are looking for a Program Analyst to join our team who shares our drive and motivation.
Position Summary
The Program Analyst is responsible for providing program and administrative support to the Program Team (Program Officers, Senior Program Officers, and the Vice President of Grants). This role assists in reviewing grant reports, preparing documents and presentations, and researching grant strategies and initiatives as assigned.
This this role is entry level and will be exposed to a myriad of grantmaking tasks from a support position.
Principal Accountabilities
Grant Applications
- Review incoming grant applications and oversee initial intake process
- Interact with grantees and applicants as assigned to provide information and assistance in interacting in alignment to Foundation priorities and processes
- Assist in the Program Team in developing and editing in-house reports, write-ups, and presentations
Program Support
- Research and compile information on program related topics under the direction of Vice President of Grants
- Assist in evaluating grants and collecting impact data
- Collaborate with peers across the Grants Department to support the grantmaking process
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

- Undergraduate degree in a related field (preferred)
- Any experience in the philanthropic sector (preferred)
- Any experience in a grantmaking function in one program area (preferred)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to prioritize overlapping projects to complete work in a timely and fiscally responsible manner
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Ability to learn new skills from on-the-job training
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion
