We are looking for a Program Analyst for a full-time, remote position supporting the Department of Homeland Security in a federal contract. The successful incumbent must be able to commute to the DHS offices in the National Capital Region when requested.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Program Analyst to support senior leadership and ensure the seamless execution of key projects. This position requires strong administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate in the implementation of complex programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards. Track and report program performance, including key metrics and progress against timelines.
- Assist with the development and implementation of project plans, coordinating resources and task assignments. Maintain project documentation, schedules, action items, and status reports. Develop and maintain dashboards and presentations for stakeholders to track program health. Identify potential project risks or issues, offering solutions to ensure smooth execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing communication and ensuring timely responses. Prepare and organize correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed. Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and events, including preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes. Assist with the preparation of executive presentations, reports, and key documents for internal and external use.
- Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project), and calendar management tools.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of an organization.
- A proactive and resourceful problem solver with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3-10 years of experience in a similar role
