Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice Defense

Associate Attorney
Focus: Medical Malpractice Defense (85%) and Premises Liability (15%)
Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days home
About the Role:
*Manage a caseload of 15-17 medical malpractice and premises liability cases with minimal supervision
*Take and defend depositions
*Draft and prepare motions (including motions for summary judgment). MSJ writing samples required
*Participate in mediations alongside a partner
*Prepare for trials
*Minimum 2 years of litigation experience (medical malpractice defense is essential)
*Ability to work independently and take ownership of case files is critical

Billable Hours: 160 hours/month (1,920 annually)
Salary Range: $130,000-$165,000 (depending on experience, 3-5 years preferred)
Bonuses: Discretionary, typically reviewed at year-end

The ideal candidate is independent and capable of managing a desk with minimal supervision, experienced with depositions, motion drafting, and motions for summary judgment, and looking for a collaborative, family-friendly environment with flexibility and long-term growth potential.
