Professional Land Surveyor - Impact Recruitment

Impact Recruitment is currently seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) for our client's Nashville, Tennessee office location.

We are looking for a Surveyor to be responsible for supervision of field operations, deed and map research, project coordination as well as boundary survey calculations analysis and final map checking.


Responsibilities:

• Online and courthouse research
• Research regulations for plat submittals
• Adhere to company safety policies along with use of supplied personal protective equipment, (PPE)
• Drafting ALTA, boundary, subdivision, easement plats, and topographic surveys
• Process raw data files
• Construction calculations
• As-built surveys
• Mentoring field staff and survey technicians
• Direct the activities of the survey crew
• Document all phases of survey field work, reads and understands plans and specifications
• Articulate basic sources of measurement errors
• Fully versed in principals of staking and marking
• Provide positive client/public relations in the field
• Safety note

Qualifications, Experience, and Education:

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• Surveyor in Training (LSIT) or Professional Land Surveyor(PLS) Required.
• Minimum 4 years of field and/or survey technician experience
• CAD skills to include AutoCAD, experience with alignments, creating Surface Models, coordinate geometry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment with competing demands
• Ability to thrive working in a team environment
