Professional Geologist (PG) - Impact Recruitment

A successful and growing small business, with offices in Beloit, Wisconsin and Davenport, Iowa is currently partnered with Impact Recruitment in their search for a Professional Geologist.


The successful candidate the successful candidate will manage all aspects of environmental projects to ensure that they are safely completed on time, within the scope and budget. The individual will be responsible for completing the project per the contract scope and will monitor progress and performance.

 

Responsibilities of this role:

• 
  Performing and/or direction of project-related site investigations and/or remediation related to all manner of impacted media (including above and below-grade petroleum and chlorinated solvent releases within the States of Wisconsin, Illinois & Iowa);
  
• 
  Preparing project documentation (including client correspondence, regulatory reports, permitting applications)
  
• 
  Supervising and directing personnel, in addition to contracted and subcontracted personnel.
  

 

Who we are looking for:

• 
  Currently licensed in the States of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa (or able to obtain licenses)
  
• 
  Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a licensed Professional Geologist or licensed Professional Engineer in the environmental field, preparing and submitting IEPA and WDNR regulatory documentation related to petroleum and/or chlorinated solvent sites
  
• 
  Competence in obtaining regulatory case closure
  
• 
  Experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and due diligence
  
• 
  Strong work ethic and collegial personality
  
• 
  Excellent written and oral communication skills
  
• 
  Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
