This Professional Counselor 3 or 4 (full-time) position is for a vacancy located in our Mandeville Behavioral Health Clinic in Mandeville, Louisiana. Please see the examples of work below for additional information on this position.
These positions are in a Career Progression Series and may be filled as either a Professional Counselor 3 or a Professional Counselor 4, depending on the applicant’s level of experience and licensure.
These positions may be filled as either a Probational Appointment or a Job Appointment. Applicants may be asked to serve a probationary period that may be anywhere between 6 months to 24 months.
Preference may be given to individuals who have at least 6 months of substance abuse treatment experience or have passed the ADC, AADC, or EMAC exam at the time of appointment.
Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant's level of experience. The minimum and maximum pay levels for the position is listed below:
- Professional Counselor 3: $22.76/hour Special Entrance Rate - $37.88/hour maximum
- Professional Counselor 4: $24.35/hour Special Entrance Rate - $40.53/hour maximum
