We are looking for individuals to join our team of professional consultants who specialize in providing technical solutions across clients in multiple industries throughout the Triangle area. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consulting various clients: This could be one client at a time, and it could be multiple clients at a time, depending on the need. The day to day of what and who is being supported can vary in this role.
- Client-facing: Responsible for supporting clients and ensuring that expected responsibilities are being accomplished on time and with a high degree of quality.
- Consultative Guidance: Provide expert guidance to clients on optimizing their systems and offering recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
- Technical Data Projects: Analyze and troubleshoot technical data issues and needs for clients by identifying their needs and implementing effective solutions.
- Project Management: Effectively communicate project or work milestones, status updates, and potential risks to clients and internal stakeholders. Generate regular status reports on client data projects, highlighting key metrics, trends, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- 1 or more years of prior experience as a Data Analyst / Data Scientist / Data Consultant / Data Engineer - MUST HAVE experience with multiple types of data related tools/technologies such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python, etc.
- Experience with end-to-end Data needs, ranging from pulling and manipulating raw data sets to visualization of data through data visualization tools.
- Intrapreneurial mindset with a desire to be a part of something different and contribute ideas to our team as we grow our consulting function.
- Ability to work across industries and markets to serve each individual client's needs.
- Passion for consulting and an ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment that is constantly changing.
- Team oriented and results oriented, with a commitment to client satisfaction.
- Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills to consistently meet deliverable deadlines.
- Desire to have a stable, full-time, salaried consultant position that offers performance-based bonus incentives.
**Though this position's day-to-day can be remote, we ideally want to find candidates in the Raleigh/surrounding areas who are able to come into the office if necessary. The ideal individual will be a part of the Vaco Raleigh team, so we want the opportunity to see you from time to time!

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
