Production Worker / Machine Operator - Spherion

Spherion Staffing and Recruiting is hiring for Production Workers AND Machine Operators in the Hartselle, AL area. So if you are a career-minded production worker or machine operator you are welcome to join their workforce. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, with overtime scheduled on Fridays and Saturday. Experience with using a tape measure is required.

Responsibilities:
Operate extruder machine, corrugation and downstream equipment in accordance with daily production and quality standards.
Maintains efficient operation of all equipment while supplying high quality products.
Practice good housekeeping and safety rules.
Report suggested process improvements, safety hazards and equipment problems/breakdowns to the Production Supervisor or Production Manager.
Assist fellow workers experiencing production or housekeeping problems.
Perform such other duties and special assignments as requested by the Production Supervisor

Working hours: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

**Ability to read a Tape Measure is required. Must be able to read a tape measure down to a sixteenth of an inch.**
