Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for a Production Technician to perform testing of defective products, identify needed repairs, and ensures quality control for commercial standards and customer needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Perform fault diagnosis, repair, or replacement of H200 GPUs under the guidance of engineers.
- Use standardized testing tools to check the functionality of GPUs and ensure that repaired GPUs meet performance requirements.
- Follow standard operating procedures for testing, repairing, and replacing GPUs.
- Operate and maintain production line testing equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
- Conduct daily checks and maintenance on work environments and tools to ensure equipment accuracy and reliability.
- Assist engineers with GPU performance testing, data recording, and issue feedback.
- Ensure smooth production processes according to company quality standards and resolve technical issues that arise on the production line.
- Keep detailed records of each repair and replacement process to ensure traceability and workflow management.
- Compile and report testing data and issues to assist engineers in further analysis.
- Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure production progress and quality.
- Attend regular team meetings to receive and implement technical guidance from engineers.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Preferred candidates with a background in GPU hardware, graphics cards, or computer hardware maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of GPU hardware, including working principles and common failure modes.
- Proficiency in operating common testing tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) for fault diagnosis.
- Basic skills in server's repair.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in hardware repair or production line operation, particularly with GPUs or graphics cards.
- Experience working in high-efficiency production environments is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with engineers and other technical staff.
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
Salary Range
$23.00/hr - $28.00/hr
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
