Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for a Production Technician to perform testing of defective products, identify needed repairs, and ensures quality control for commercial standards and customer needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot all products from our assembly line and RMA
• PCBA (BP, MB and Server related boards) Incoming Quality Control
• Assist test engineer/supervisor to diagnose and identify root causes for failed boards
• Test and identify defective area(s) and enter information into RMA Repair database
• Execute ECO, BIOS, and FW upgrades
• Adhere to standard testing procedures and schedule to meet daily demand and quality requirements
• Work efficiently in a fast paced production environment
• Adhere to company and Production departments policies and procedures
• Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
• Minimum High School, AA preferred
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in electronic and computer industry
• Experience in production testing PCBA a plus
• Candidate with less relevant work experience and knowledge can be considered as junior position (Production Operator). On-the-job training will be provided to suitable candidate.
• Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness
• Solid communications skills both verbal and written
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
Salary Range
$24.00 - $42.00 / hour
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
