About the Job
- Safe and effective setup and operation of manufacturing equipment.
- Know how and where to find process specifications and procedures and adhere to them.
- Demonstrate and insist upon accuracy in all reporting measure product quality, mobile equipment operation, product inspection, product packaging, scrap material reclamation.
- Maintain a skill level of the operation and a knowledge on equipment operation and product quality that allow for the assisting of setting up all aspects of the operation during start-ups and changeovers
- Maintain housekeeping at a level of excellence at all times in work areas.
- Demonstrate and insist upon accuracy in all reporting.
- Recognize product quality and help diagnose problems.
- Follow all safety rules and insist that all employees associated with the operation do the same. Perform miscellaneous duties as required or requested.
- High School diploma or GED
- Pre-screen interview
- Submit to a skill level evaluation
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime and weekends
- Ability to communicate and effectively work with others
