As a field production technician, you will be responsible for on-site visits to small to medium size businesses in NYC and Nassau County, NY (potential overflow coverage for Brooklyn) playing a key role in customer satisfaction while installing, repairing, and servicing Xerox production machines but also HP, Epson & Kyocera Multifunction devices.

Day-to-Day Activity

• Responsible for installation and repair of primarily hardware of Xerox Production machines up to V280
• Troubleshooting ability
• Perform equipment operation (printing, scanning, copying)
• Develop schedules & implement preventative & corrective maintenance services to maximize equipment uptime & performance
• Provide accurate & timely monthly reporting of activities by utilizing activity reporting software tools
• Responsible for customer satisfaction & communication of equipment status & availability
• Maintain appropriate communication with Managed & Technical Services Personnel within assigned territory.
• Provide customer training on assigned products to improve end user knowledge of equipment functionality.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of current Xerox production machines up to V280 experience is required
• Prior experience with HP, Epson, Kyocera a machines are a plus
• Troubleshooting ability
• Demonstrated capability maintenance & repair of electronic/electrical/mechanical printing equipment
• Basic understanding of network printing, job creation & submission
• Certifications are a plus
• Ability to thrive independently

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Outgoing disposition with willingness to learn and collaborate within a team.
• Attention to details.
• HS Diploma (minimum) & prior relevant work experience
• US Work Authorization required
• Valid driver’s license
