Production Team Member - All Shifts - Grunt Style

Job Description

Production Team Members work in the Production Department (also known as 2nd Platoon, 1st Squad) at Grunt Style, LLC creating t-shirts and other clothing items produced for our customers.  It is a fast paced and team orientated environment where everyone helps to fulfill the needs of the company.  Grunt Style offer many different perks during employment, which include but are not limited to:  50% off all Grunt Style apparel, “Profit Sharing” (if monthly goals are met), company membership with Fountain View Fitness(located at the Carol Stream Park District), and many others.  We are looking for the best of the best to come work with us.  If you want to work for a great company with awesome people, apply below.  Here is a list of daily duties and responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate equipment of various sizes and weights used in the production of clothing and apparel.
• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Follow daily procedures and protocols set forth in job orientation and in trainings received by the Team Member.
• Prepare screens for printing; Mix and load ink for production.
• Trouble shoot artwork issues or flaws.
• Drying/folding/packaging completed orders.
• Track work completed and/or work in progress.
• Meet production goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to operate equipment under varying work conditions.
• Working knowledge of methods, materials, and tools used in production of t-shirts and apparel.
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to printing machinery.
• Ability to perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion.
• Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

Physical Work Activities

• Work is performed inside the production facility with the occasional need to be outside when moving completed projects to the shipping warehouse.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• The noise level is usually loud.
• The temperature level within the facility can fluctuate.
• Continuous standing and time on your feet.
• Use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate equipment, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
