Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers and Manufacturing Engineers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize the Daily Management system to track KPIs for tube teardown and transportation.
- Monitor KPIs such as labor hours, work order completion, inventory accuracy, and customer complaints, setting team goals to meet quality standards.
- Manage the operational budget for your area.
- Implement business unit objectives and departmental goals.
- Enhance productivity while ensuring timely and quality customer commitments.
- Create training plans to optimize workforce capabilities.
- Lead compliance and Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives.
- Promote LEAN manufacturing practices and idea generation.
- Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of production or supply chain experience, or a High School diploma/GED with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in team leadership and development.
- Ability to apply Lean principles to enhance efficiency and safety in disassembly operations.
- Experience in identifying and implementing best practices in ambiguous situations.
- Strong communication skills and data-driven reporting.
- Knowledge of powered industrial vehicle operations and safety impacts.
- Familiarity with disassembly operations and supplier integration.
- Understanding of material flow and standard work for shipping and receiving.
- Ability to navigate digital errors.
- Experience managing represented staff with a focus on safety.
- Skills in creating BOLs and managing shipments.
- Ability to troubleshoot shipping errors.
- Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of crating, packaging, and receiving systems.
- Moderate mechanical aptitude for problem-solving in daily operations.
