We are currently looking for Production Team Leader to join our growing team.
Schedule is full-time, Monday - Thursday, 5:30am - 4:00pm or 6:00am-4:30pm and typically requires overtime on Fridays.

The Production Team Lead is a working lead who is responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of the production process and Team for a specific product line. They will work closely with Planning, Testing, and Quality to meet business objectives.
GENERAL DUTIES:
* Oversee assembly team; set job priorities and job assignments; track and report labor
* Coordinate production priorities with Planner, Test, and Stock Room Team Leader, report material and capacity issues
* Measure and drive team throughput; tracks work order status -- Set productivity expectations
* Provide daily report outs on job status, issues
* Drives continuous improvement opportunities and initiatives
* Manages and maintains excellent shop floor housekeeping and FOD management through 5S process.
* Drive initiatives to reduce production rework and lower scrap
* Train new employees in basic shop floor processes and procedures; provide on-going training to the existing team, maintain training logs -- facilitate and document cross training.
* Support shop supply inventory
* Uses MRP System to generate reports, status Work Orders, Stock & Parts
* Support/maintain manufacturing routers and work instructions
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years' experience in Operations, including 3 years supervising personnel.
* 3 years minimum experience in electronics assembly production environment
* Prior Aerospace/Defense industry experience preferred
* Read/Write Fluently in English; Spanish speaking a plus
* IPC & JSTD soldering certification preferred.
* Needs to be an effective communicator, credible and decisive, possess team building skills
* Must be well-organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment
* Comfortable using MS Office software suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MSWord.
* Sustained dependable attendance.
* Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
* Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.
