The Developer Analyst is responsible for complete design, development, and unit testing for software projects. The Developer Analyst may also be responsible for coaching other team members and performing quality reviews of the work of other team members. The Developer Analyst should be deep in his/her technology and domain specialty but have learning agility and versatility to learn technology outside his/her specialty to improve delivery. The Developer Analyst should also have a team-first mentality and be willing to help other team members to improve the delivery success.
What You’ll Do:
+ Requirements Elicitation, Understanding, Analysis, & Management: Understand the requirements/stories, and perform the appropriate gap analysis for a platform/technology.
+ Participation in Sprint Planning and Sprint Status: Participate in sprint planning meetings by estimating the tasks to design, build, and development test software. Attend daily huddles to report progress and barriers to progress.
+ Design/Development/Development Testing: Create the design for a given technology that effectively meets the requirements/stories. This will involve ensuring the design integrates with other platforms/technologies. The design may be done directly in the code itself. Build and development test the software according to the functional specifications, design, maintainability, and coding and efficiency standards. Complete development tests within each sprint according to acceptance criteria and system component integration needs.
+ Testing & Debugging: Work closely with the Solution Quality Analysts by providing debugging and testing assistance as needed to meet sprint objectives.
+ Documentation and Deployment: Create technical documentation (assets) in the code per coding standards and assist as needed in the documentation creation for the products’ customers. Create the artifacts needed to ensure the software is migrated efficiently through the needed environment life cycles.
+ Production Support: In addition to the responsibilities above, the primary responsibility for the role will be production support for clients from a customer authentication perspective aligned to the Authentication Services team. The Authentication Services team is a tier 2 support team that provides support to over 500 plus clients for over 35 million users. The individual in this role will be expected to troubleshoot user incidents reported through the ticketing system for the entire authentication technology stack. (Liferay, Angular, APIs, microservices, RSA Adaptive Auth, Transmit Security, & Oracle database) via Kibana logs, Postman, and reviewing code for the various applications.
What You’ll Need:
+ Minimum Experience of at least 2 years with at least one year of providing production support.
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
US Citizenship requirements- as this role supports services provided to the federal government and/or a federal government contractor, proof will be required to verify US citizenship status at time of hire.
