PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - Spherion

Spherion is looking for a Production Supervisor to join a local manufacturer. Responsibilities:
Supervise Daily Operations: Lead and organize hourly employees to meet production schedules while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Drive Team Success: Set shift goals and manage performance, including attendance and employee development.
Foster Continuous Improvement: Work with team members to gather feedback and implement improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and cost.
Mentor and Develop Team Members: Assist in training new hires and building a culture of growth and excellence.
Ensure Communication: Share important business updates, policies, and initiatives with the team.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and shared success.

Working hours: 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
Knowledge of behavioral-based safety programs.
Experience with production and resource planning.
Ability to manage KPI performance and quality metrics.
Proficiency in developing and managing work instructions.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Understanding of safety and quality standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience in performance management and continuous improvement methods like Lean.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Bachelor?s degree required (Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management preferred). Equivalent experience will be considered.
