Become a key player as a Production Supervisor:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to lead and support our growing team in assembling electronic components. This role involves coordinating daily team performance to meet schedules, ensuring zero safety or quality incidents, and actively participating in project tasks when leadership duties allow. You will train and collaborate with team members to enhance performance and efficiency while serving as the primary point of contact between the production floor and management. Responsibilities include providing real-time direction to the team, maintaining product quality, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with assembly procedures, including inspections and documentation, to maintain product quality
- Identify and address non-compliant products or processes, supporting quality improvements through root cause analysis
- Collaborate with planning and engineering to prioritize jobs, meet schedules, and ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Provide daily updates on work order status during production meetings
- Verify equipment and tools are available and properly prepared for scheduled work orders
- Address safety concerns, violations, or hazards, and ensure team adherence to safety protocols
- Monitor team performance to meet production schedules, labor time standards, and quality requirements
- Ensure raw materials and equipment are prepared, meet specifications, and are maintained in proper working condition
- Perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, crimping, and cutting, with knowledge of tools, electrical drawings, cable sizing, and wiring standards
- Oversee assembly, wiring, and installation of field devices and components to required standards
- Train and support team members to ensure flexibility and continuity in production operations
- Address daily team issues, monitor attendance, and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance and productivity
- Conduct employee evaluations, set goals, and foster a motivated and informed team environment
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cable and wire harness assembly
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- 1+ year of experience operating machinery and using various tools and equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and develop future production leaders
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in problem-solving and time management
- Good manual dexterity with experience setting up and operating machinery and using various tools and equipment
- Proficient in English communication
- IPC/WHMA 620 certification is a plus
Pay Range:
$63,000 - $85,000 annually
