Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor will oversee shift workers of a production facility located in the Newnan, GA area. This candidate will work with the facilities operations team to achieve daily objectives. These objectives include, but are not limited to production goals, on-time deliveries, quality standards, inventory control while satisfying customers’ expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Production Supervisor monitors the critical KPI’s of production and implements the appropriate corrective measures to address deficiencies, utilizing continuous improvement techniques.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes for continuous improvement of cost, quality, energy use and other key initiatives to support the business strategy.
- Coordinate skill, learning and content development of hourly personnel, while implementing operating procedures.,
- Establish process specifications and provide procedures for operational changes and operation of new equipment.
- Assist on off hours for manufacturing problems, trials, etc., including fill in for other department managers.
- Lead by example to promote and encourage employees to strongly commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Monitor all control procedures, and as needed recommend and propose capital improvements to the Production Manager.
- Develop strong relationships with key members of the organization to better understand the overall business and upstream and downstream connections to prevent possible delays in production and shipment and impact on customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate major design projects including new product lines and custom orders Identify training and development opportunities for facility’s Employees and monitor progress against performance goals.

Education or Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years working in mill operating / supervision experience. Preferrable paper / pulp mill / paper converting production environment.
- A minimum of two years as a supervisor or a position that required leadership responsibilities.

- Must possess good teamwork, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and conflict management skills.
- Weekend duty and on-call requirements.
- Must have the ability to travel within North America (air/land) and internationally.
