Key Responsibilities:

• Implement company policies and procedures across teams to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Manage the activities of production teams, including inspectors, machine operators, and fabricators, for optimized workflow.
• Coordinate with other supervisors to streamline operations across departments.
• Schedule tasks, assign responsibilities, and sequence work to meet production targets efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of products, materials, and equipment to identify and address defects.
• Monitor performance indicators and equipment to ensure production standards are met.
• Facilitate training for employees on equipment operation, safety protocols, and job-specific tasks.
• Interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications to provide team members with clear guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of team attendance and hours worked.
• Review and analyze production data and schedules to ensure requirements are met and assess output levels.
• Manage requisitions for materials, supplies, and repair services to support continuous operations.
• Document and report production metrics, including time, production rates, and costs, to management.
• Set standards, allocate budgets, and define production goals in line with company policies and resource availability.
• Address worker concerns, complaints, and issues, resolving them through open communication.
• Configure and fine-tune machines and equipment as needed for optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience as a supervisor in a metal fabrication environment
