As a Production Supervisor you will:
This is a Direct hire opportunity.
Schedule: Day shift – Sun - Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Flexibility to work overtime.
Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour. DOE

As a Production Supervisor you will:
- Prepare Weekly and Daily Schedules:
- Meet with the team to understand production needs.
- Communicate deliverables via preparation sheets.
- Coordinate raw material allocations.
- Review and communicate cutting specifications.
- Prepare administrative processing documentation.
- Prepare Raw Materials for Production:
- Enter transfer requests with the warehouse.
- Ensure planned production needs are covered.
- Team Communication:
- Communicate with the warehouse about product distribution timing.
- Production Project Completion:
- Review and check out production items with the Production Manager.
- Audit piece counts, check SKUs, and prepare items for invoicing.
- Production Floor Management Substitution:
- Assist with setup and floor management if needed.
- Substitute for Production Floor Management when necessary.
- Production Standards and Documentation:
- Create and maintain product specifications documents.
- Develop SOPs to ensure quality standards.
- Ensure proper use and training of equipment.
- Communication:
- Update managers on productivity and issues.
- Report key metrics to senior operations managers.
- Production Scheduling:
- Create a weekly production schedule with the core team.
- Performance Benchmarks:
- Develop and track key metrics.
- Suggest performance enhancement solutions.
- Staff Scheduling:
- Set the hourly staff schedule with the Production Floor Manager and Sr. Operations Manager.
- Production Reporting:
- Enter post-production documentation for inventory control.
- Prepare accurate weekly production reports.
- Customer Communication:
- Communicate with production department customers.
- Balance customer requests with internal needs.
- Compliance:
- Maintain HACCP and compliance documentation.
- Ensure accurate documentation on the floor.
- Complete weekly compliance sign-offs and raise issues if needed.
- Communication: Excellent listening skills and clear, mission-driven responses.
- Production Technique: Experienced in retail and wholesale carcass and primal fabrication (beef, hog, lamb, chicken).
- Process Focused: Knowledge of HACCP programs and USDA processing standards.
- Followership: Ability to take direction and adapt as needed.
- Collaboration: Effective team leader and team player.
- Attitude: Positive, supportive, and caring communication.
- Attention to Detail: Careful preparation and planning for efficient production.
