Our client, a leader in corrugated box manufacturing, is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee plant operations, including safety, quality control, budget management, and day-to-day production. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in corrugated box production and a proven ability to lead teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Oversight:
  • Coordinate across departments to maintain safety, quality, and production KPIs.
  • Manage first-line production teams to meet company standards and operational goals.
• Team Leadership:
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment by demonstrating fairness, consistency, and interest in employee development.
  • Ensure proper training and fulfillment of plant positions.
• Operational Efficiency:
  • Address mechanical, scheduling, or personnel issues impacting operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and sustain machinery.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and supplies to ensure continuous operations.
• Customer Collaboration:
  • Work with Sales and Design teams to strengthen customer relationships and accommodate product changes or new orders.
• Compliance:
  • Implement and uphold company policies, union contracts, safety programs, and housekeeping standards.
• Strategic Input:
  • Provide input for the annual budget and capital plan.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years in production manufacturing within the corrugated industry.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in corrugated box production.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of corrugated box production processes, equipment maintenance, and quality standards.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $95,000–$115,000 per year.
• Bonus: Eligible for additional performance-based bonuses.
