Brief Summary of Position Purpose:
The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing manufacturing operations within an assigned work center. This position involves overseeing employee performance, ensuring production, quality, and safety targets are met. The Supervisor takes charge of communicating and driving the work center's production goals and objectives, embodying a hands-on leadership approach while actively participating in production responsibilities.

- Demonstrated technical skills and competency related to functional area(s) and work center(s).
- Ability to project manage workflow through planning, scheduling, prioritizing, remaining organized, and keeping the team on task, especially at times when the work schedule may shift.
- Ability to collaborate with leaders, peers, and employees within and across Manufacturing to ensure processes and communications remain streamlined and forward moving.

Credentials, certifications & Industry-Specific Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 or more years manufacturing, operations or production experience.
- Prior experience leading manufacturing work processes, projects and teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain job-specific training credentials and required certifications.
Physical Requirements
This role in a manufacturing facility requires adherence to OSHA standards and common metrics, encompassing various physical demands and environmental conditions. The work environment may include exposure to hot and cold temperatures, fumes, elevated noise levels, and uneven surfaces. Physical requirements involve a combination of sitting, standing, walking, lifting, twisting/bending, push/pull activities, crawling/kneeling, reaching/stretching, driving, and utilizing hand/wrist and forearm movements. The ability to lift and carry objects of varying weights (up to 50lbs) is essential, with a requirement for proper body mechanics when performing tasks such as bending, twisting, and lifting. Additionally, the position entails the use of standard personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses to protect the eyes and steel-toed shoes to ensure foot safety. Adherence to these physical standards is critical to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment for the Second Shift Supervisor at Cleaveland/Price.
