Job DescriptionHana Group North America invites applications for the role of Production Shift Leader at our Seattle facility. We seek a dedicated and organized professional to lead our production team. The selected candidate will oversee daily production operations, manage daily schedules, ensure timely deliveries, uphold high product quality, supervise equipment maintenance, and manage personnel to enhance productivity. This role offers a vibrant opportunity to play a crucial part in the success of our expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of 40-50 personnel, ensuring efficient coordination across production operations.
- Foster a culture that prioritizes food safety and health standards.
- Implement and monitor food safety practices, maintaining detailed logs.
- Cooperate with Facility leadership to update and refine facility processes and procedures.
- Apply company policies effectively.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of vendor equipment with the Facility Manager.
- Assist with annual staff reviews and evaluations, adhering to company guidelines.
- Acquire certifications in Serve Safe Management and HACCP within the first 90 days of employment.
Qualifications
- At least two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, kitchen management, or food production.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent prioritization, delegation, and training skills.
- Solid time management and organizational abilities, with a flexible approach to meet business demands.
Additional Information
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and FDA regulations; experience with SQF is a plus.
