JOB TITLE: Production Planner
LOCATION: Stratford, CT
PAY RATE: $30-$40/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

• Plans, prepares, and controls production schedules, ensuring the timely flow of materials to meet production needs.

• Coordinates material movement between warehouse/storeroom and production areas.

• Advises management on work progress, material availability, and potential production issues.

• Schedules personnel, equipment, and materials based on production needs, preparing work orders and purchase requests.

• Coordinates interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and other departments.

• Expedites parts movement through move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.

Required Skills:

• MS Excel (Intermediate)

• SAP

• Strong understanding of production scheduling and material management

• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple tasks

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Experience with inventory control and production scheduling software

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
