Summary
This CONTINGENT key position will support HII-NNS CVN in-service project team in Bremerton, WA as a Planner/Scheduler. The position is responsible for the overall performance of the advanced and execution planning and production phases including scheduling as required by HII-NNS.
*This role is contingent upon being awarded the contract.
What You Will Do
+ Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs.
+ Developing and maintaining an integrated schedule of all work to be accomplished during CVN availabilities.
+ Analyzing progress and trends for performance to schedule and identifying the potential need for corrective action to production management.
+ Supports and participates in negotiations with customer.
+ Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters.
What You Must Have
+ 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
+ Experience as a Production Workforce Manager.
+ Must have experience preparing for and attending weekly resource meetings, ensuring all requested resources were committed to and supported.
+ Experience working in a shipyard environment.
+ Must have experience coordinating with zone managers for production resource needs.
+ Must be familiar with AIM, NMD, and MS Project.
+ Must have experience supporting Project meetings including morning meetings and Event Readiness meetings to meet Milestone/ Key Events.
+ Experience facilitating weekly project resource meetings with project management and the customer.
+ Familiar with "Nuclear Certification and Workmanship" functional area assessments.
+ Must have the ability to work with sub-contractors to drive work progress work and meet weekly product deadlines.
+ Must be able to read and understand 4E Specs and NAVSEA Standard Items.
+ Must be familiar with Test Inspection Plans.
+ Must be able to set priorities in a fast-paced environment with the ability to be flexible with customer driven changes.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET level security clearance.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain base access and ships access.
Preferred: Bonus Points For
+ Experience with The NNS Integrated Management System.
+ A current, valid DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher.
Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
