The Opportunity That Awaits You:
The production planner is responsible for monitoring the raw material availability to release work orders as planned and to schedule, coordinate, and monitor the weekly Production work orders through the complete production cycle to achieve the quarterly Build Plan and the expected Finished Good inventory. The position requires analytical skills and the ability to measure the overall execution of the Production Schedule.
The candidate will be required to coordinate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D and Purchasing to identify and escalate scheduling conflicts and capacity constraints, manage engineering build orders, track raw material deliveries, safety stock levels, and mitigate line downs and aging work orders.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:
- Manage and maintain the weekly Production Schedule of Finished Goods, Subassemblies and FRUs.
- Release all work orders including Production, rework, RTV and Engineering build requests.
- Track the work orders cycle time and status from release to financial closure.
- Publish accurate and timely reports and metrics that communicate work order status to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Master Scheduler and Purchasing to align the Material Requirements Planning (MRP), the weekly Production schedule and the Build Plan to ensure MRP demand integrity for all products and raw material.
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
- Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS Policies
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Planning or Supply Chain in the medical device industry or other regulated industries
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in ERP/MRP systems
- Proficient with MS Excel.
- Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills.
- Foster strong collaboration across multiple departments to ensure alignment on schedules and priorities.
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills by identifying potential scheduling conflicts and escalating in a timely manner to minimize supply disruptions.
- Excellent time management and organization skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.

- Be willing to work in the office (Hybrid schedule available)

Work Authorization Status: Citizen / Permanent Resident
For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $82,000-97,000 per year.
Plus, eligibility for an annual bonus and equity/RSUs.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
We'll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance. We would also ask you to understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies.
