The Impact You’ll Make
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Master Scheduler: Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
- Manages PC Planning activities related to logistics and manufacturing schedule milestones
- Responsible for work order / material reservation management, including converting planned orders to work orders/reservations, monitoring, and adjusting production schedules for timely delivery.
- On time closure of work orders orders/back flushing
- Work order variance analysis and reconciliation
- Monitor inventory locations and works cross functionally to resolve line side inventory variances and increase inventory turns and accuracy
- Works with Supply Chain and Spares Planning on material allocation for constrained suppliers
- Identify material shortages, assess risk, and communicate updates to order fulfillment and manufacturing
- May perform world-wide inventory assessment to mitigate manufacturing shortages
- Review bill of material change orders and executes them appropriately.
- Attend daily cross-functional meetings to prioritize and plan production control activities to maintain on-time delivery.
- Investigate problems in the production control process, analyze root causes, and coordinate resolution.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related disciplines
- Three (3) years related experience, preferably working in repetitive lean manufacturing and / or experience in a pulse line manufacturing environment.
- High level proficiency in SAP or comparable MRP systems.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization.
- Experience working in a dynamic, and fast paced business environment.
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: Min $69,000 - Max $159,000.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
